Hey everyone! 👋 Just wanted to share with you all my recent visit to Ghost Town in Palm Beach, North Cyprus. 🏚️🌴 It was such an amazing experience! This place truly feels like time has stood still since the invasion by Turkey. The abandoned buildings and the eerie atmosphere give you a glimpse into the past. 😱

One thing that really caught my attention was seeing the old Hilton hotel with bullet holes on the outside. It's a stark reminder of the turbulent history this town has witnessed. 😔💔 But despite the somberness, there is a certain beauty in the decay and the untouched nature around. 🌿

Exploring Ghost Town felt like stepping into a time capsule. I couldn't help but wonder about the stories behind those empty houses and shops. 🤔 The streets, once bustling with life, now carry a sense of mystery and intrigue. 🕵️‍♂️

I highly recommend visiting this place if you have the chance. It's not only a historical site but also a testament to the resilience of the people who lived here. 🙌🌟

If you're into historical places and love to unravel stories from the past, Ghost Town in Palm Beach, North Cyprus is a must-visit destination! Let me know if you have any questions. 😊✨ #GhostTown #NorthCyprus...

Cleaning: low Dirty as hell !! To much plastic and cigarettes filters on the sand. (Even in the mornings). Rubbish bins with no plastic bags. These bins are to small and not enough. Acoustic pollution: high The DJ is playing music more loud than acceptable. To make things even worse , the music was not even summer hits 2023. Environment caring: very low They still giving plastic straw !! Facilities: showers just work with previous payment (just coins). The whole area of showers is bad maintenance. Toilet: not nice Security guard: has watched to many Hollywood movies. He is playing the bad guy with no reason to whoever. For some reason a worker apparently involved with a beautiful foreign client gave us a show for free. He was totally mad and started screaming at her. The young staff very good in general , great effort! To be honest I had no food , just drinks. Excellent internet wifi. The management of sun beds and beach umbrellas:Chaotic . We beg you to change the very old blue matress for...

I remember this as The Constancia Hotel before 1974. The small section of Famagusta beach that you can use, in front of the hotel is just as I remember it all those years ago. MUCH quieter than the beaches of Ayia Napa in the South. The hotel is well maintained and modern: not at all crowded (mid May). I was considering staying at this hotel for my next holiday, but the booking page on their website was completely unusable. The TRNC is well worth a visit, even if you're staying in the South. The prices are significantly lower in the North. Everywhere will accept Euros, but my tip is to drop into a currency exchange as soon as you cross the border and switch some Euros (or Sterling notes) for Turkish Lira. You'll get a far better exchange rate that way.... The currency exchange places are happy to exchange even small amounts - I found that I was just a few Turkish Lira short on my last day, and the currency exchange were happy to exchange a 10...

As a result of the fact that the two nations could not live on the same lands without conflict, I can say that it is a somewhat frightening, gloomy, glorious, sad and striking town as it was emptied almost overnight years ago. You will feel many emotions at the same time. Yes, I recommend you stop by here. It takes about 1 hour 30 minutes from Kyrenia and 1 hour from Nicosia Ercan Airport (ECN). Please obey all warning signs. No vehicle entry. Entrance to the area is made under police control. Inside, you will come across officials almost everywhere. At some points, UN military forces will also say a cold hello to you. (Not verbally!) When you go to the left after the entrance of the area, a small but wonderful beach with sand and sea will be waiting for you. Do not go back without taking this opportunity.
