Hey everyone! 👋 Just wanted to share with you all my recent visit to Ghost Town in Palm Beach, North Cyprus. 🏚️🌴 It was such an amazing experience! This place truly feels like time has stood still since the invasion by Turkey. The abandoned buildings and the eerie atmosphere give you a glimpse into the past. 😱
One thing that really caught my attention was seeing the old Hilton hotel with bullet holes on the outside. It's a stark reminder of the turbulent history this town has witnessed. 😔💔 But despite the somberness, there is a certain beauty in the decay and the untouched nature around. 🌿
Exploring Ghost Town felt like stepping into a time capsule. I couldn't help but wonder about the stories behind those empty houses and shops. 🤔 The streets, once bustling with life, now carry a sense of mystery and intrigue. 🕵️♂️
I highly recommend visiting this place if you have the chance. It's not only a historical site but also a testament to the resilience of the people who lived here. 🙌🌟
If you're into historical places and love to unravel stories from the past, Ghost Town in Palm Beach, North Cyprus is a must-visit destination! Let me know if you have any questions. 😊✨ #GhostTown #NorthCyprus...

Read moreI remember this as The Constancia Hotel before 1974. The small section of Famagusta beach that you can use, in front of the hotel is just as I remember it all those years ago. MUCH quieter than the beaches of Ayia Napa in the South. The hotel is well maintained and modern: not at all crowded (mid May). I was considering staying at this hotel for my next holiday, but the booking page on their website was completely unusable. The TRNC is well worth a visit, even if you're staying in the South. The prices are significantly lower in the North. Everywhere will accept Euros, but my tip is to drop into a currency exchange as soon as you cross the border and switch some Euros (or Sterling notes) for Turkish Lira. You'll get a far better exchange rate that way.... The currency exchange places are happy to exchange even small amounts - I found that I was just a few Turkish Lira short on my last day, and the currency exchange were happy to exchange a 10...
