Zenon Winery — Attraction in Omodos

Visited on the way to Troodos mountains and was an unplanned stop. The owner was very welcoming and it became apparent that this was a genuine 100+ year old family owned winemaker of exceptional quality. The Cabernet Sauvignon wine was exceptional, believe me I have tasted many, and this ranked one of the best I have tasted. Luckily they were not commercialised as I am sure this wine would rival bottles £100+ it was that good. I have only bought 4 bottles as that is all I can take back and hope this good review doesn’t put their price up as I will but many more my next visit but if it does...

Must visit!! This is one of the local family wineries with history and passion. We were warmly greeted by the host, a daughter of the family, and the whole family got super friendly and wanted to help us too. The host was knowledgeable and generous with the tasting. They have a wide selection from dry to medium to sweet wine. Many had original medals.

The shop has lots of their family artefacts. It was interesting to learn. The host was super relax for us to hang around even though it was closing soon.

Definitely the best wine tasting we had in Cyprus! The owner was so friendly and knowledgeable, even though we arrived pretty late and kept her from her daughter's birthday 🎂 tasted all of the wines, the reds were pretty good and the whites just so light and tasty! The tasting was free, including snacks, wines, and Zivania.
