Nice beach, the beds are in good condition and the sea is quite pleasant. Food is nice and there are a range of animals around if you like that sort of thing. We found the showers to charge using coins so make sure you remember these (50 cents) if I remember correctly and it doesn't stay on long ! Food is nice and the staff very friendly. The beach could be a bit cleaner and more organised, there is a little rubbish and beds aren't organised when customers leave, I think this place could be even better if the beach was cleaned a little and sunbeds weren't left randomly placed, we unfortunately witnessed a cat and dog using the beach as a toilet which is unfortunate but bound to happen, hopefully someone cleans that side of things up 🤣 Overall nice place and recommended.

Date of Visit: 22 May 2023 Pros: • Spacious and quiet beach (at least as of today's visit) • There's occasional view of landing airplanes • Big parking Cons • Cloudy water • Sea grass is all over the water and sand • Lots of stones in the sand This is good for a beach stroll however if you want to get that surreal holiday feel consider other beaches.

We were at weekday morning so there weren't many people. Not one of the nicest beaches we were at Paphos, but this beach is really long, you can see many boats at the sea, that was nice. there are many rocks at the enterance to the sea, there was trash here and there under sunbeds. Also showers were paid and only take 50 cents

Rikkos Beach, located in Geroskipou near Paphos, is a delightful spot for beachgoers looking for a mix of relaxation and activities. Here’s what you can expect from a visit to Rikkos Beach:

Easy access, soft and sandy beach perfect for sand castles, lots of shade and beach chairs (2.5 Euro each), a small, shaded playground for little kids, lots of animals running around (chickens, roosters, cats, puppies and bunnies), and very clear water, though there isn't much to see in it other than sand and a bit of seaweed.

Small cafe and restuarant right on the beach with great cold coffee, snacks and drinks, and decent food (large portions, very reasonable quality and price) with a friendly staff.

We were a large group with 5 kids under 10 and a teenager, plus 8 adults. Had a great time! The kids loved the animals and playground, as well as the beach.

Went late on Saturday morning during the last week of June, expecting the place would be packed, but it wasn't. About half full, quiet, panoramic view of the nearby seafront, and very clean and pleasant.

The beach is about 10 km from the airport, so you do get the occasional plane flying over, but it didn't bother us at all.

Lunch was great. We had chicken and pork kebabs, fish & chips, hamburgers, and salads. Everything was fine. Not 5-star food, but tasty, quick, and reasonably priced. Better than we expected, actually.

Would give it a 4.5 out of...

Rikkos Beach is a reminder of the way it was before expansion and the seemingly never ending thirst for development of semi rural areas turned them into hotels, 'luxury' beach side condos and villas. No music, no fast food outlet, just a wonderful place to sit, chat, have a snack or a drink and relax. Sure, it needs a good toilet and maybe a shower facility, but just to concrete over what has been an amazing reminder of a traditional Cyprus bar/food outlet would be a tragedy. Rikkos still retains it's charm and fairly rustic service, just the way I like it. I sincerely hope this never changes. Lots of change, however, is coming to this stretch of coast and it will bring opportunities for employment and, no doubt, lots of profit for the local economy, but, please don't let Rikkos lose out...
