A hidden gem without tourists that you can use for relaxation or exercise. The scenery is really great but is tricky to justify trough photos, you have to see it for yourself. If you walk through the ravine for maybe a kilometre there is a place where time stood still, you can use a swimmingpool, play table tennis, volleyball or just have a beer on the grass or rent a comfy chair for a reasonable price. The reasonable price goes for all the activities except for the restaurant where they charge you just a tiny bit more than they would in a normal place in town but if you compare it to the tourist spots around Prague it's ridiculously inexpensive. You can bring your kids, they won't be disappointed if they're not spoiled brats 🙂. I visited Prague many many times and this is my top spot...
Read moreI love this place, absolutely, totally. For those who know Železná Studienka in Bratislava, well, I think Divoká Šárka is something like that, but like 100x level up. Views are amazing and in fact you even don't need some hiking shoes. There are two main cliffs. The smaller is easily accessible, so if you just want to breath some fresh air and see beautiful view, it's no problem to get here. I haven't been on the bigger cliff yet, but I recommend to better take some sport shoes (trainees ie.) and clothes there, it's quite steeper than smaller one.
