Chorvatský Mlýn — Restaurant in Prague

I had unpleasant experience in this restaurant. Went there by the way, just after coming back from the main, red hiking trail near the restaurant. There was many free tables inside and outside, however the waiter told us that we can only sit inside if we don't have reservation, which was totally fine, even if the room was not air-conditioned. What was not fine, when we asked for coffee the waiter gave us the face expression and tried to make sure that we order no food several times and then took the menu's from us and throw them very loudly near our table. It was quite shocking, because we got used to Czech's hospitality in the restaurants and have not expected to be treated like that. I mean what is wrong to have a cup of coffee in the gastronomic point which is the nearest and actually the only in the neighbourhood after trekking? The smell of food in the restaurant was so inviting to change our mind and order some dish, however the waiter's behaviour was not acceptable so we decided not to eat here and forget this place as soon...

I was there twice, last time like 10years ago, it was then under different name which you can see still in the menu. I wasn't impressed then because it was crazy overpriced. Gave second try in November 2019 but the experience with the main course - recommended daily fish was just awful. The amount was small, badly presented with some weird sauces which we could not even identify - basically just terrible. I give two stars only for great desert and acceptable staff which recommended us great wine. But for 2500,- CZK I wasn't impressed at all and would not...

Well, if you wanna celebrate, if you want to recall your vacations or just wanna feel and taste the Croatia cuisine and wine ... this is a great choice!

Restaurant run under Croatia 🇭🇷 owner with original chef ... the food is just delicious, sea food fresh and soft. Frankly hard to find better in the Prague.

$$$: Prices bit above Prague average, but worth of every penny!

Honestly recommend: The octopus salad. 🐙 Simply stand out for softness of the sea food combines with freshness of salad. Simply delicious!...
