Christiansminde Strand — Attraction in Svendborg Municipality

This is a very interesting hotel outside of the town Svendborg , Denmark. It is on the water and I was very eager to go there and I’m glad that I did. It’s kind of a very historical place, with a fancy touch to it and very simple rooms. We were treated well and we had a fun time on our stay. We had some trouble finding it because it is in the back roads of the on the waterway. It was probably our fault more than anything else. The best beach in the area along with Smørmosen beach. The waters are calm, there are a lot of crabs and even shrimp for the kids to enjoy. There's a great cafe/ice cream store with a mini-golf plus a great little park for kids and games for them. For those with lotsa money, you might try out the restaurant at the hotel there (never did have the cash for that... :-) ). Has good access and bike trails lead up the place and follow along the edges of it. Really a great comfortable beach for those...
