Splash Water Park — Attraction in Higüey

Not really kid friendly for kids 6-10. The waterside are not the safest. The funnel one you need to drop and swim underwater to the steps to get out because if you come up immediately for air, water will drop on you. Scuffed my arm on a water slide and was bleeding like crazy. No first aid or anything available. Just happy it was me and not my son. No English speakers there so please come with a translator. Do not wear any jewelry, and be sure to put on lots of sunblock. Also have water shoes because the ground is rocks and hot and you are pretty much barefoot the entire time there. The water pressure for fresh drinking water was extremely low as well. The one slide I posted was fun. Excellent! Something for everyone. I really appreciate the friendly lifeguards that made sure that the kiddie slides were just for the young children. The kiddie area was absolutely perfect. Many slides and water features just for toddlers/young children at the perfect size. Water is the perfect height and all of the children seemed to enjoy it, including our toddler. Wonderful water slide park inside of Riu's complex in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Only open to Riu guests. An 8 minute walk from Riu Palace Punta Cana. A total of six slides as well as a kiddie splash pool. Non alcoholic drinks are available and included in the all inclusive package. No food is available.
