Parque Italia — Attraction in Santo Domingo Este

HORIBLE HORIBLE PLACE. Its disgusting and just horible! Where do I start!? First the pepole only (gangstas) or some ghetto family would go there. The place used to be amazing! Clean and lovely with sweet and moderate pepole there now its a dump! It has free wifi but it dosent make up the fact for its low quality. Graffiti and theft everywhere I went to go see children play at the slides and a child feel right through it! A 7ft droop with a hole through the midle! I have seen not 1 or 2 but 4 rats! Lurking throughout the park! There is also a horible smell of dog poop. I'm guessing they will not do anything about it. Great place to take your children to play and have a good time also to exercise, people go here to walk, run, ride bikes. The only downside is that around the park there are several drinking businesses and some days/nights, to me, it becomes an awful place to be, drunk people and sometimes looking for troubles, the neighbors have it worse...

If you're local, as good a place as any to sit and pass some time but don't wear jewellery or a watch and don't show you have a phone. If not a local, the park isn't worth a visit. There are a couple of good food shops in side streets right by the park. One sells...
