Karbon y leña — Restaurant in Santo Domingo Este

I went with my family to celebrate a graduation. The food was great and we had a great time. However, the way they do their invoicing is a complete 'robo'. The food arrived over an hour later. Even the drinks took a long time to arrive. The music was nearly deafening. When the check finally arrived, it was a shock. The waiter made several suggestions to the plates some of us ordered without explaining how this would change the prices from what was listed in the menu. And the difference was not a little change. This resulted in thousands of extra pesos from what we expected. My check was the only one that was what I had expected and that's because I was not very hungry as it was late and I barely ordered anything so the waiter didn't have an opportunity to make any "suggestions". This seems to be a restaurant aimed at tourist so I would strongly suggest, if you really want to try the food here, to stick to what is on the menu and don't let the staff make any suggestions and ask what the food listed on the menu comes with so if they decide to make a change, you can hold them to what they said. But I say, go somewhere else and avoid this place entirely. There are too many restaurants in the city that don't operate like this for anyone to put...

Fui anoche a cenar con mi hermana a este lugar y en verdad quedé muy inconforme con todo, el lugar estaba vacío y la atención era lenta, no tenían casi ninguna de las bebidas que ofertan en el menú y si pides una sangría rosada que está en el menú te la sirven tinta (o roja) sin siquiera disculparse, a la hora de ordenar la comida mi hermana pidió un mofongo de camarones que estaba horrible el plátano se sentía viejo, no tenía sabor, estaba seco y ni siquiera le pusieron el caldo que va con el mofongo, yo ordene la parrillada personal.

Para empezar la parrillada personal es peor que el mofongo, la carne de pollo no la Cocinaron a la parrilla más bien parecía como que la guisaron y me la pusieron ahí, las costillas parecían otra cosa menos costillas, la chuleta la sobrecocinaron y las salchichas me dio la impresión la pidieron al colmado, está parrillada personal trae un minimofongo que estaba igual de malo que el que pidió mi hermana lo único bueno fueron los tostones (Un milagro), si vas en grupos no pueden separar las cuentas porque parece eso les complica la vida, al final nos quejamos sobre la comida y la respuesta que dieron fue que quien cocino no fue el "chef " si no su "ayudante " por último el lugar no tiene parqueo.

No lo recomiendo para nada demasiado caro para un mal servicio y...
