Metropolitano La Armenia Park — Attraction in Conocoto

This is one of the nicer parks I've visited here in Quito. The area is lush with vegetation, tall trees, plants that bear fruit, there's a small river that flows through the middle. The park has many trails both smooth and off path through more dense forest. There are plenty of places to sit, picnic areas, bbq areas, benches, hydration stations are all over the park. The trees here are so beautiful and tall. Walking through this park gives you the sensation of being in contact with nature. Often times parks are too open and lack the dense vegetation and tree density that this park has. If you come here during the weekend, be prepared because it gets packed.
