Playa de Chipipe — Attraction in Salinas

This is such a gorgeous beach and well worth the visit. Salinas has some amazing things to offer and if you are able, I would make a moment to stop in and check it out. The beaches are very clean and it is crawling with vendors that will bring you just about anything you can think of. Every one of the local restaurants has someone that walks the beach and offers to bring you food and drinks. This does not even begin to address the number of local vendors that are out and bringing you local things like shirts, pants, jackets, sunglasses and everything...

Beautiful area! Reminds me of West Palm Beach, Florida in an small scale, the fresh seafood 🦞 amazing 😉 you can literally go to the beach 🏖 and wait for the fisherman’s to come back to shore with a fresh load, some of the fishes are still moving, they cleaned in front of you, amazing experience I loved! You can not beat that anywhere, on top of that Is so close from Guayaquil about an hour and half drive on a nice road. Worth the trip...

The good: One of the best beaches in Salinas for sunbathing and swimming. Doesn’t get as crowded as the other beaches and not rocky which is great for hanging out in the sea.

The bad: Went after carnival and unfortunately the beach was extremely dirty. The local government should really consider doing more beach clean up especially after big events. The other thing is some sellers are too insistent for you to buy...
