Where do i even start, paid £120 for me and my child to hang on to a dolphins fins while it pulled us around a pool like an obedient little robot. these animals seems soul-less, was like a conveyor belt. this was supposed to be 10 minutes, my partner timed us, we got 6.5 minutes, 4 of those were spent posing for photos which they sell back to you! so they use YOUR paid for time, to produce more things they can sell back to you! also, once i got in the water, my son was too scared to hold the dolphin to have him pulled round, so they made my son cling to my back while i get pulled round, so they dont have to give me either more time (not that i even got my full 10 minutes anyway) or a refund. my son came round ONCE, didnt do anything else other than sit on the side. my partner decided he wanted a turn so he paid, he stood near the pool and a dolphin popped its head out and was 'smiling' at him as my partner pulled faces (not in a mean way) and he was told to move, he wasnt in the way he was literally front of the queue waiting for the current people to finish. god forbid he get some interaction for free, that was the least robot-like id seen any of those dolphins all day. so when my partner finally gets his turn, he got 14 minutes. so the 10 minutes is what you pay for but they seem to pick and choose, some people get less than they paid for while others get more. you dont get your moneys worth if your child is terrified, you dont always get your full time, but its like a conveyor belt, you share the pool with other people during your 10 minutes, hold the dolphins fins and it drags you round the pool like youve pressed a button on a machine. i felt guilty AND ripped off for giving this place my money. dont...
Read moreI went there last week with my wife and daughter as it was her dream to swim with Dolphin. This place plays on kids and family emotion to swim with Dolphin to mint money. This place is all about how administration can money. They charge 60 USD/EUR to swim for literally 60 sec, they advertise 5 min which includes, changing, waiting, small training etc. They don't let you take pictures so that they can then sell their own. Naturally the experience for 60 sec is great and pic they take will force you buy a few at 8 EUR/USD a piece as your kids will not leave without the memories. Before the swim there is show which is supposed to be 60 min, of which 30 min is spent on an auction of random strokes the dolphin do on a cardboard, while a few people participate in auction, literally other 100 twiddle their fingers and wish the auction gets over, which wont be quick as they will keep doing rounds. For rest 30 min the kind of sequence is worst I have seen when compared to other place like Spain, Greece, Turkey etc. All in all the whole show is to mint money with no regards of the tourists and it all dependens and who pays the most, which hotel you are from and rest fell like second class citizens
I would not suggest going to this place, as there are much better places in other countries. Best is not to build up expectation with kids about this park. There are many other things you can do in Hurghada which are worth the money like taking the boat tour to island and corals or safaris jeed/quad in the desert...
