We got there to be charged an entrance fee of what should have been about £10.00 . We walked around looking at the sculptures, yes they are amazing, but no cover from the blazing sun. We stopped half way to get 2 waters And a coffee each and a packet of crisps and told to pay once we had seen the rest of the sculptures. We continue around then came to pay for the drinks etc. He totalled it up and I was shocked at the price...no prices are listed and was trying to charge us over £20.00 in egyptian probably thinking we wouldn't know the price in English. I said that is incorrect and he tried to show me on the till doing if so fast so we wouldn't notice. I argued with him but he was not having it, so I paid the money told him I was not happy and would be contacting the Euro police as I walked out. At the entrance the guy asked what was wrong and I told him the same, he went to argue with the guy who sold us the drinks, we had a taxi driver who was waiting for us and during the time we had coffee the drink person told the taxi driver to disappear 🤔 when we came to pay for the drinks the taxi driver asked us how much he had charged us for the drinks and said he was overcharging us. On walking out to the taxi we got in and an Egyptian came after us opened the taxi door apologised and gave me some money back, it was still short but i took it and left...beware and check online how much things are...

It was a truly unique and engaging experience, especially for my kids. Seeing iconic Egyptian landmarks recreated in miniature was fascinating and sparked their curiosity about the country's rich history. The layout was well-designed, and we enjoyed strolling through the mini monuments. While we thoroughly enjoyed our visit, a few improvements would elevate the experience even further. Firstly, the addition of a card payment machine would be incredibly convenient for modern travelers. Secondly, while the miniatures are charming, more detailed information about each structure or monument would enhance the educational aspect. Perhaps adding QR codes beside each exhibit, linking to regularly updated information, would be a fantastic way to keep the experience fresh and informative. Lastly, including the pédalo boat ride within the ticket price would be a welcome addition, providing extra value and fun for families. Despite these minor suggestions, Mini Egypt Makadi Bay is a fantastic attraction that offers a fun and educational experience for all ages. We left with smiles and a newfound appreciation for Egypt's incredible heritage. We highly recommend it for families looking for a unique and memorable day out...

Walid was an amazing guide, he showed us around, knew all the history and made friendly conversation with genuine remarks about the country.. when my nephew got bored he would make him laugh and entertain him to keep him engaged! Ohh and he took amazing pictures! Great photographer! We would highly recommend him as a guide..
The only downside was the entrance, they don’t have ATM’s neither do they take card payment, we had to drive 10 mins away to get to a bank which I thought was ridiculous! And they charge £20pp for entrance!
Overall once the fees were paid it was good!...
