جزيرة وعين فطناس — Attraction in Matruh

Fantas is hands down my favourite spot to chill in the oasis. Very relaxing atmosphere with lots of shade, so visiting any time of day is great. The freshwater 'swimming' hole is nice (may need to scoop some surface debris) - especially since the ultra salty lake surrounding the 'island' is very cold and shallow - I was here in March. Good mix of locals and tourists - the unassuming café serves a couple freshly made juices and light fare. Great for the sunset, the walk here from town is very quiet...

Un tramonto magico sul lago di Siwa

Se cercate un luogo autentico, silenzioso e mozzafiato per ammirare il tramonto, il lago di Siwa è semplicemente perfetto. Il sole che cala dietro le formazioni rocciose crea riflessi dorati sull’acqua che sembrano usciti da un dipinto. L'atmosfera è surreale: calma assoluta, colori caldi e un senso di pace che solo il deserto può offrire.

Consiglio di arrivare un po’ prima del tramonto per godersi ogni fase della luce che cambia. È un’esperienza che rigenera l’anima e resta nel cuore. Ideale per chi ama la fotografia, il silenzio e i momenti autentici lontani dal turismo di massa.
