Fatnas Island — Attraction in Matruh

Don't go to fatnas island! Don't go to right side!(There are 2 sides when you face the entrance fountain) When we almost finish visit, the manager suddenly appearing is rude and urgently ask for L.E.20 for a cup of coffee in replace of entrance fee which is not shown outside. I don't believe the natural place is his private belonging. Unfortunately, if yes, he should tell us before we entering. Thus, even 1 star insults Google Map and lots of other deserved spots in Siwa with spectacular sunset. Plus, you can go to left hand side even though the shoting direction is much less appropriate but the manager is polite...

Beautiful place for sunset, next to Lake Siwa. Sit quietly on one of the rugs, and enjoy it. You can also walk on the water too. Warn for the tourists: YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING, it's FREE. They will ask "what you want to drink", because they have a coffee/juice business in the island, but if you don't want anything, it is not mandatory. It is a public space, not a private one. A lot of locals visit the place sitting on the rocks or on the rugs. Just do the same ;). And reminder: always ask the price before ordering anything. The juice may cost more than the entrance for the Amon temple. Pay...

It's a very relaxing and beautiful place, where you can drink one of the following: Zarda (Special tea in Siwa) Mango Juice (Siwa Mango is very delicious, and you must try it) Balah Bel Laban (Palm with Milk - SOOO Delicious)

Also, there's a place where everyone sit, don't sit there. Look at the right side, and stay at the end of the wood bridge to get a better view (Image attached)
