Definitely a hidden gem. No carvings due to the type of rock in the area but the paintings are more intricate that any I’ve seen in any other temple. No photos allowed in temples unfortunately but really the quality and the preservation of it is insane. Also it’s completely empty. I was the only person there. You have to buy tickets at a different location so don’t...

Went with hotel taxi with tickets purchased at area main ticket office. Rare so not many tourists, the guards are helpful and may show you to the various tombs, same as everywhere tips are expected. Some very nice tombs are amazing views so worth it if you are keen on exploring. Excavations in are were underway when we were...

This site has 5 tombs open for visit. You should get the ticket from Antiquities Inspectorate ticket office prior to come here. The ticket is valid only for the day of purchase. Tombs are either small or not in good condition, but one of Roy has lot of frescoes survived and each of other have something...

Some very nice tombs are amazing views so worth it if you are keen on exploring. Excavations in are were underway when we were looking around.

Se passate per l'Egitto, non potete affatto farvi sfuggire questo posto. Rimarrete a bocca aperta, non saprete se sarete all'interno di un film di indiana jones o in un documentario sui siti degli antichi egizi. Per me personalmente uno dei posti più belli che abbia mai visitato. La Valle dei Re è imponente e molto calda ( circa 45°), con la possibilità di visitare le tombe (6,8,11 le nostre scelte), il tempio di Karnak è immenso si trova nel centro di luxor sulle sponde del Nilo, posto magnifico che ti fa riflettere ancora di più su come abbiano fatto a erigere certi templi. In fine il tempio di Hatshepsut, per questo sito non ho parole, solo un consiglio, dovete vederlo di persona...

Se passate per l'Egitto, non potete affatto farvi sfuggire questo posto. Rimarrete a bocca aperta, non saprete se sarete all'interno di un film di indiana jones o in un documentario sui siti degli antichi egizi. Per me personalmente uno dei posti più belli che abbia mai visitato.
