We got picked up around 03:45am at our hotel and on our way to the boat we picked up some more people we got on the boat and put into groups in which we would be in the hot air balloon, we filled out a form with names and weights etc so we could evenly fill the hot air balloon basket weight wise. We was offered tea/coffee while we listened to some safty rules then we crossed the Nile to go to the area of take off which we had to wait for clearance weather and safty wise. We watched as they filled the balloon with hot air and set the basket up. Then we had photo's taken and a video made of the day. The 2 lads in charge looked after me getting in and out of the basket constantly making sure I was OK, we spent about 1 hour in the air and seen all Luxor temples from above. The take off and landing was perfect and we got a certificate as a keep sake to say we've been in an hot air balloon then we got driven back to our hotel for about 09:00 am.
