In July 2023, we were in Hurghada. We traveled with Go Bus from Hurghada to Cairo and back. Considering the options we had as tourists on a budget, this was the best choice. Comfortable bus for a very good price. If you don’t have an Egyptian credit card, you can only buy your ticket in person, up to 20 minutes before departure — that’s what we did, and it worked fine. I bought the most expensive ticket, which includes drinks, tea, water, and snacks — and everything was delivered as promised. The personal screen didn’t work, but it wasn’t a big issue for me. Considering the distance and comfort, I can’t rate it less than 3 stars. However, during the peak of summer, I wouldn’t recommend it, because the A/C system really struggles with the heat. Important note: I don’t recommend booking Go Bus tickets too far in advance. If the bus doesn’t get enough passengers, the company may cancel the trip the night before and just send you an email asking you to contact their helpdesk. If you cancel your ticket online (after the company cancels it), you’ll receive a full refund. The main bus terminal is huge, and includes freight services — you can travel anywhere in Egypt from there, with buses available 24/7. One area for improvement: the cleanliness of the restrooms — not just on the buses, but also at ticket counters and stations — could definitely be better.

Pros: 1.Great company, easy to book tickets, super cheap compared to train/flight. 2. Comfortable seats. 3. We had a great journey from Luxor to Hurghada, the bus left on time, but was 30mins late at destination, so not a big deal. Cons: 1. We were asked for an extra 10 egp as tips for loading each luggage into the bus, which I felt was highly unnecessary. 2. We had taken the 2.30pm bus, which was Elite Business Class M. It was mentioned that we would be driven snacks and hot beverages which was not the case. The entertainment system did not work. USB port is available, but as the system was not working, so was the port. Mind you 2.30pm bus was double the price then the other timings, so if u are charging more one should provide the said services as well. 3. Once we reached Hurghada, there was no one to help with our luggages, we had to take them out on our own. 4. Once you leave the office, you will be swamped by the local taxi drivers to take you to your hotel who will not take no for an answer. They will literally be on your face. So if you do book an uber, wait inside till you know where your ride is befor exiting. All being said, we will use go bus again.

I've taken Go Bus twice and the seat sizes seem to vary. From Luxor to Hurghada I could barely get into the seat because it was so tiny and my legs were pushing into the front seat for the entire journey. The overhead compartment is too small for even a small backpack so you have to keep your backpack between your legs. Basically it's impossible to move once you're sat down. The busses are usually fully packed so there is no chance to move to another seat. The seat we reserved doesn't correspond with the seat shown on the booking page and it was in a different spot on the bus. On the way from Hurghada to Luxor the journey took over 1 hour longer than estimated despite there being no traffic, so the 4 hour estimate seems very incorrect. In 5 hours we only stopped once for a break after 1.5 hours which isn't really sufficient for such a long journey. Neither of the busses were clean and seat belts aren't working or not even available as they have always moved down between the seats where they are unavailable. Overall it's a hit and miss with the Deluxe category and the better bus classes like Elite might have more space available.

GoBus Hurghada Station serves as a functional transportation hub, providing a convenient travel option for passengers visiting or departing from the vibrant city of Hurghada. While it offers a satisfactory experience, there is room for improvement to enhance the overall quality of the station.

One of the key advantages of GoBus Hurghada Station is its strategic location. Situated in a central area, it offers easy access to popular tourist destinations and essential facilities within Hurghada. The station's proximity to other modes of transportation, such as taxis or local buses, ensures seamless connectivity and convenient onward journeys.

The station's facilities at GoBus Hurghada are generally decent, catering to the basic needs of travelers. The waiting areas provide seating for passengers, although additional seating capacity during peak hours would be beneficial. Maintaining cleanliness within the station would further contribute to a pleasant environment for passengers.

While the staff members at GoBus Hurghada Station are generally helpful, there is room for improvement in terms of customer service. Ensuring consistent and efficient service delivery, as well as enhancing clear communication with passengers, would elevate the overall experience for travelers.

Furthermore, the station would benefit from improved signage and information displays. Clear and visible signage would assist passengers in navigating through the station and finding their respective bus platforms or facilities. Real-time updates on bus schedules, delays, and other important information would be invaluable in providing a seamless travel experience.

In summary, GoBus Hurghada Station offers a convenient transportation option for travelers visiting Hurghada. While the station provides the necessary facilities and connectivity, focusing on enhancing customer service, improving signage, and providing comprehensive information to passengers would elevate the overall quality of the station. With these improvements, GoBus Hurghada Station has the potential to provide an even more satisfactory and seamless...

Have used the go bus many times and never had any problems but this one time was a complete nightmare. We went into the office two to three days before we wanted to travel to book and pay for our seats and choose where we wished to sit, we booked and payed elite business class seat at front of bus.on day of our departure we went and asked which bus it was only to find out they had changed the buses, no email was sent or received, very was told to sit in the numbered seats we had booked and choose when we booked and payed, so we took our seats only to be told once we got to safaga and other people were getting on that we were in there seats as they had booked the same seats but on the normal go bus, as they had amalgamated both the buses together. We had payed far more than other people so was left with no seats which we had chosen and had to sit at the back of the bus on two very dirty, broken seats which did not recline and the seat came off as the other people would not sit else where and the bus driver said it's not his problem and they had got the same seat numbers.once we moved the Aircon broke and the bus broke down not once but three times, we was informed by another person on the same bus it had happened to them but when they arrived was informed of the change and given a refund of the difference between the two buses, we was not so once we arrived at our destination we had to stand and wait for nearly an hour arguing before we were reimbursed but not the full amount.the bus was extremely dirty, the seats the floor, most seats had chewing gum stuck to them , and they was chewing gum and rubbish still stuck in the compartments where the ashtrays used to be, the curtains were all hanging off and down which was not great when trying to escape the sun and heat as no air conditioning working, we have used this company multiple times but this has really put us off as no customer service just shouted at like we have done something wrong.what is the point of giving a email address when booking if no one sends a message to let you know...

It said the bus will have tv, air conditioning, and wifi on their site but it did in fact only had air conditioning. The air conditioning was much better than the one we had in our tourist bus, the guy who sold me tickets was very helpful, and I dont care much about the tv but I was in need of wifi. When I asked about the wifi at the main bustain station, when we arrived, they looked at me like I was asking for more porridge. They told me they have no wifi. There was a wifi called gobus there, but it was locked so I gave up. The trip wss nice, desert is interesting when observed from the air conditioned bus, abn all of the windows had nice shades that you could lift or leave down. The seat in the back was broken though so some girl used it to put her backpack insode it. Rhe driver said he cannot give me the directions about where I have to get off using my google maps (yeah I used my phone mobile data) because he has problems with his eyes but he helped me with directions without looking at my phone anyway. If I had to travel again I would use them again because for the price you pay you get a decent, not great, but decent service all in all with a decent bus. I only traveled with them so I cannot compare. The price is great, like most of the prices in Egypt, very affordable for someone coming from the west. Even if you are lower level of the middle class in...
