This hile is certainly worth the effort. BUT use the car amd drive up to the fence, i.e. half way up. Although the road is not perfect, it is good enough for a normal car. To my view, to walk up from the city to the peak, half of the way is on asphalt road. Not quite a joy. But if you want to have those 400+ meters to walk on your own, park dowtown. Have three layers to wear with you. We had really strong wind on the top. Gloves and cap is a plus. TIP: the stone pyramide on the left at the very top provides very good shield against wind - to...

Did this in late August 2024 with fine weather. Parked in the paved area. Further up the unpaved road (and trail) were a few parked cars. At the end of the unpaved road were 2 parked cars. I was fine with parking in the paved area designated on Google Map as the trailhead. Past the unpaved road/trail it was grassy and often wet and muddy with rather severe muddy sections best avoided, especially in the steep sections. Fabulous views in...

This was one of my most favorite spots in the Faroes. The climb up was a little steep, but not too bad. Once you reach the top the views are very rewarding! It was very windy when were up at the peak, and it was also a bit slippery from rain a few days before, so wear proper attire and shoes. Honestly, I'd say that this hike is a must when visiting the Faroes. It is beyond...
