This hile is certainly worth the effort. BUT use the car amd drive up to the fence, i.e. half way up. Although the road is not perfect, it is good enough for a normal car. To my view, to walk up from the city to the peak, half of the way is on asphalt road. Not quite a joy. But if you want to have those 400+ meters to walk on your own, park dowtown. I was fine with parking in the paved area designated on Google Map as the trailhead.
