Our home away from home on the Faroe Islands. Cosy place with fantastic atmosphere, friendly bar staff/owners, and great local beers and burgers at very reasonable prices. I was staying in Klaksvik for four days with two mates and we came here every evening. Dice rolling for beer price on Thursdays is not to be missed :) Highly recommend!

Very lovely atmosphere. A mix of locals and tourists just having fun. We've catched the pub quiz night and had a blast. Definitely a good place to have a beer while you're at Klaksvík.

Best bar in town. Their shish kebab is marvellous. Beers from the local brewery. Cheaper than everywhere else in Faroes, but still more expensive than my car.

They have had a good reputation for years, I even found them in a travel guide for the Faroe Islands I had bought 18 years ago. Not many pubs in the country, this is the best anyway. The same beers that you get at pubs in Tórshavn for 65-70 kr, you find at Roykstovan for 35-40, plus the friendly atmosphere and...

Happened upon this place because it was the only thing open, but ended up being a great bit of luck on our part. There was a local football match on and we had so much fun mixing it up with the locals. Everyone was super welcoming - even invited us in to share in pizza and several rounds of drinks. A good time...
