Nice place. Many decent slopes. For those who already know how to ski, I will recommend this place.
The carpet lift is rather short as well as the slope with it. Self learning beginners might find it very difficult to find a suitable slope.
The easiest slope for self learning beginners is located in the back of the hill. Going there requires some effort in the first time.
We, a group of four families, 8 adults and 10 children, spent four days here, on skis and snowboards. We had good time. But one of us got a twisted knee before we got to know the back hill easy slope existed.
In general, nice place with decent amount of slopes for families who already know how to ski.

There's also a kids freestyle park and 2 adult freestyle parks, but when we were there the bigger one was under construction. Skilifts are mostly anchors, but there are also a couple of chair-lifts. It has several restaurants on site, so you can have lunch without going anywhere. All the information is written in Finnish, English and Russian. We parked our car and never had to move it untill we left Tahko. There was easy enough slopes for beginners. "Auringonlasku" that longest slope was like a miniature Canada experience drink all day and snowboard 18km.
