Station du Semnoz — Attraction in Annecy

Great experience visiting in the summer. There's a lot of activities to do in the area and getting to the top of Semnoz was a great experience, the cable car goes over beautiful landscape with lot's of animals.

You get sweeping views of the valley and the mountains, even catching glimpses of Mont Blanc.

Make sure to take a picnic blanket with you to lay down and admire the views of the mountains.

It's a great spot for mountainbiking as well! Do note that the chairlift is only available for mountainbikers, we had to take the cabin to go up instead, which was also a good experience!

You have to buy tickets from the central ticketing point, make sure to mention you will return back with the cable car...

Nice outing! You can easily park here and then, to the right of the parking lot (so not at the toboggan run), buy a set of rounds. We bought 20 for €56. After that, you can choose from different activities, including tobogganing, tubing, and (for the little ones) mini-karts. Each activity costs 1 round. For the mini-kart, you ‘Exchange’ a round for a coin, which you can do at the toboggan run. The ski lift works with the same card and costs 2 rounds per person. The view of Mont Blanc is fantastic!
