At 3.90 Eur per ride they set everyone off at 10 metre intervals onto an 850m track. This results in groups of 3 or 4 arriving together at the finish - therefore most people are not getting the ride they wanted as the operator is more interested in euros per hour than their customers enjoying their rides. We have ridden similar rides in other parts of France and in Germany - this is by far the most overcrowded and profit before pleasure. If you're going, get there when they open and forget the early afternoon. Out of 5 such places visited, this is the most disappointing by far. I would rather double the queue and have fun on the ride than spend 55eur on disappointment and frustration.

Update as we had tokens left, we returned before they opened a few days later. Much better spacing the the luge. The Runix was fun too. This 2nd visit was much closer to a 4 star experience. If you're going, get there...

A luge with a view; your very own slice of Olympic thrill. Not to be confused with summer yodelling, despite the Swiss-feel alpine meadow you find yourself within.

Exhilarating activity and great value (if you’re in a group you can get 20 rides for just €56 working out at €2.80 per ride, rather than €4).

If you stay low you can take the bends real fast. But be careful to secure loose objects. I saw someone’s hat fly off and it caused issues for the person behind.

It’s certainly strange being in an area so well equipped for skiing but in the summer season. An eerie aura to the place, lifts seemingly abandoned and empty hills where one would often imagine heaps of people whizzing down by various snow-facilitated transport means like ants...

Here's the deal with Luge d'ete - it is a nice track with fast cars and some good turns but is NOT WORTH THE MONEY WHEN BUSY. The cars are launched way too close together so if you are interested in trying to go fast you will catch the person in front of you almost immediately and then have a very slow ride to the finish. This could be fixed by just spacing the cars better when they launch them, but with huge crowds they are just trying to push as many people thru the ride as possible.

If there's no crowd I bet this track is great. If there's a crowd I would not go or I would be very careful about leaving enough space...
