Maison de l'Environnement/Parc Izadia — Attraction in Bayonne

Probably a great park if it wouldn’t have been closed for lunch time. It’s the rules. Not worth a visit when coming from further, because they’re only open 2 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the afternoon. Not open during sunrise and sunset for photography. Fencing too high to see inside on most sides of the park. So more like a small zoo with only a few birds....

Wonderful park where you can walk around a couple of wee lakes. They even have an English translation of the points of interest in a handy pamphlet. Takes about an hour, some good birds, fish and lizards...

Joli endroit pour se balader et observer les espèces (lunettes fixent disponible et prêt d'un petit kit d'observation). Diverses expositions , ateliers, parfois conférences, proposés (les 5 sens, la préhistoire, les " bobos " , observer le ciel, la migration ....). Personnel très sympathique dans l'ensemble, à l'écoute, de bons conseils ... . Merci pour ce parc et pour ce que l'équipe apporte. Lignes de bus toute l'année (dernier bus pour 20h environ) : 11 et 10, arrêt "La Barre" par exemple, ou pendant les vacances d'été : rajout des lignes 5 et...
