Lac Vert — Attraction in Bonneville

Beautiful lake in the mountains of the Chamonix valley. The lake is gorgeous and a wonderful spot to take photos, with its crystal clear water and picturesque scenery. You cannot swim in the lake to preserve the quality of the water. Plenty of long and short hikes of varying difficulty nearby, and a couple of restaurants and restaurants stops. Beautiful area, short walk from the Lake, are great views of Mont Blanc. Ice for a pic nic, in the Summer many families with children, which is fine, but want to return in the Autumn for a more peaceful outing. Getting there by car is ok, but be warned of Grades up to 13% . Perfect for motorcycles. Larger vehicles such as RV's a little more challenging, as there are many tight corners, with the step grades.
