Amazing place only 4 stars because the restaurant at the top of the aiguille de midi was filthy because there only seemed to be 2 members of staff - one serving and one poor sod probably called Laurent cleaning up after filthy filthy tourists who are actually like animals. I could see the hope and dreams in Laurent's eyes had vanished a long time before the gypsy family had smeared chocolate and Coca-Cola up all the sides of the walls were they were sat. Also 50 minutes wait for the get your picture taken over the void is just silly. Put a member of staff there in busy times and tell the people you have 30 seconds to get a photo taken. Cheers

Great view but racist staff. Other people took photos sitting down and it was ok, but our turn came, We took less than a minute to take individual photos for 2 of us and were told to stop and chased off. It wasn’t even a busy day and there weren’t a lot of people in the queue so what’s the excuse? Apparently it’s “unallowed” to sit. but please go Google or search on Instagram, the number of people who sat down dates back to 2020. Not sure why we were unallowed, maybe there are special rules for asians. This is not okay, we’re in 2022. Treat everyone equally. We left feeling terrible, this really left a bad taste in our mouth.

Fantastic and exhilarating, stepping into the void. Waited in line for 20-30 minutes (views all around whilst waiting) and felt a little rushed in the box (maybe that is just me but I didn't want to hold anyone else up) but it is exciting getting to step out and look over the mountains. You aren't allowed to take photos on a camera only the one on your phone for some reason? Space to put bag before stepping out and staff who give you slippers for standing on the glass

En week-end à Chamonix, nous ne pouvions pas passer à côté de l’aiguille du midi qui propose une activité incroyable « le pas dans le vide » ! Une expérience magique à vivre au moins une fois ! Pensez à bien server votre billet d’accès, il est impossible d’y aller sans réservation. Prenez le téléphérique de l’aiguille du midi et direction le plus haut sommet d’Europe à 3842 mètres ! Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir un créneau très tôt le matin ce qui nous a permis de profiter sans qu’il y est trop de monde. Cette boîte tout en verre est impressionnante, vous avez une vue incroyable sur le mont-blanc, sur les montagnes tout autour et sur la vallée. Un moment à couper le souffle surtout si vous regardez sous vos pieds ! Prenez le temps d’admirer toute cette nature incroyable et repartir avec des étoiles pleins les yeux. Il y a un petit espace snack pour prendre un chocolat chaud, une bière avec une petite gourmandise et vous installer au bord des fenêtres pour profiter de la vue tout en restant au chaud. Il y a aussi un restaurant avec une vue panoramique incroyable (il faut aussi le réserver en amont). Vérifier bien les horaires et jours d’ouverture car ce site exceptionnel n’est pas ouvert tous les jours de l’année ou bien l’accès au pas dans le vide peut être accessible mais pas le restaurant. Pensez à bien vous couvrir et partez à la découverte de l’aiguille du midi !

For any visitor from equatorial countries this place will be a natural beauty. One side the plains of Chamonix village looking like a valley and other side the snow covered Aiguille du Midi and the Month Blanc looking like a peak, it a wonderful sight to watch. The rope car stops at this place in the middle to change for another to go to the top, which is called the roof of Europe. Though the cost is a bit high, it's worth seeing such a natural beauty.

Le Pas dans le Vide offers truly stunning views, especially on clear days when you can see the majestic Matterhorn in the distance. The glass viewing deck provides a thrilling experience, allowing you to feel like you're walking on air high above the mountains. Despite the queue, the experience is absolutely worth it for the breathtaking vistas and unforgettable memories.
