Awesome - in the true sense of the word. Brilliant views on a clear day, exciting gondola that is fast enough to make your stomach drop slightly as you go past the supporting pylons and really good food available up at 3842m above sea level! Caveat being that you may feel the effects of altitude sickness, which are not pleasant - it's totally worth it though. Oh and there is an off-piste ski run down...

An amazing must-see mountain! I was lucky to get a ticket on the morning without booking in advance, and only had to wait about 20 minutes for departure. Otherwise you book timed tickets in advance, which I would recommend! I had to go up solo as my friends had a 6-month old who are not permitted up the high altitudes. Seeing Mont Blanc from the top was absolutely amazing and my favourite experience...

Aiguilles de Chamonix is truly an incredible sight to behold! While we were fortunate to secure tickets on the morning of our visit without prior booking, I highly recommend reserving timed tickets in advance to ensure a smoother experience.
