This is THE best attraction in the Alps (maybe Jungfraujoch comes close, at least comparable). For 30 minutes each way you fly over the mighty glaciers of the White Valley enjoying the impressive views from a comfortable cabin. The alpinists going to climb the Mont-Blanc look ridiculously tiny from this height compared to the mountains around them. In all once in a lifetime experience, that you will remember for a long time.

The best cable car ride youll ever experience. It stops 5 times on the way and swings at least 10m up and down. It runs on a single rope over multiple kilometers long valley. The rope swings maybe 300m down from the pylon. One of the pylons is floating - a rope between two peaks acting as a pylon. And you can see people trekking below you. It is completely wild ride and something you can not experience anywhere else.

Esperienza indimenticabile soprattutto per chi, come me, soffre di vertigini. Stare appeso a centinaia di metri dal suolo su una piccola cabina è stata dura, sia all’andata che soprattutto al ritorno (sapendo bene quello che mi aspettava). La natura però da lassù offre uno spettacolo che sono contento non essermi perso per la paura dell’altezza. La mia compagna si è divertita tantissimo soprattutto a vedermi preoccupato. Superfluo descrivere i panorami, veramente mozzafiato (il poco che mi era rimasto). Personale addetto agli impianti, gentile e rassicurante, ma (esclusivamente) per la mia difficoltà scarsamente convincente. Anche questa è fatta! Sceso sano e salvo.

Wat een geweldige rit was dit. Echt een ervaring die eigenlijk niet te beschrijven is, die moet je gewoon beleven. De bergen, de gletsjer, de alpinisten die er lopen. Het is niet goedkoop, maar het is het wel waard. De kabelbaan die 30 minuten duurt, stopt 5x om alles te kunnen bekijken. We hadden een zomer(ski)pas, voor alle andere liften, deze kabelbaan moet je dus wel extra betalen. De lift, Mont Bianco in Helbronne naar beneden zat wel weer in de skipas, dus zijn we helemaal naar Italië geweest. We hebben deze rit niet gereserveerd, ter plekke besloten om het te doen. Als je op de Aquilla du Midi bent, zou ik zeggen DOEN!

Cable car to the viewpoint. Modern, large, panoramic. Just driving it is a great experience. We are accompanied on the trip by a staff member. There are about 30-40 people in the queue.

Nos ha gustado muchísimo. Ha merecido totalmente la pena. Es verdad que es caro teniendo en cuenta que previamente has tenido que pagar el teleférico de l'Aiguille du Midi. Pero esos paisajes... El silencio cuando el teleférico va parando... Grandioso. Nosotros lo cogimos desde el lado francés; llegas al lado italiano y tienes que bajar, hay terrazas y observatorios a los que es interesante ir.

Description
The Vallée Blanche Cable Car, is a passenger cable car linking a mountain peak above Courmayeur to a peak above Chamonix by passing over the Mont Blanc massif, in the Alps. The engineering was developed by Vittorio Zignoli of Polytechnic University of Turin.
