살면서 꼭 가야할 곳 추가🩵🛶 남프랑스 여행에서 제일 기대했던 곳, 베르동협곡! 자연이 만들었다기엔 믿어지지 않는 거대한 협곡과 에메랄드빛 물색은 이번 남프랑스에서 본 풍경 중 가장 경이로웠고, 직접 패달보트를 타며 협곡 안으로 들어갔던 순간은 잊지 못할 기억 중 하나가 되었다🥹 이 곳을 찾는 모두가 패달보트와 카약을 타며 수영과 다이빙을 즐기는 여유로움마저 완벽했던 곳🩵 📍남프랑스 베르동협곡 #생크루와호수 #lacdesaintecroix 무스티에 생트마리, 라벤더 천국인 발랑솔과 가까워 묶어서 가시는 걸 추천드리고, 렌트가 불가능할 경우 니스에서 출발하는 투어도 많으니 참고하세요:) 보트도 타고, 포토스팟 가득한 베르동 대표 명소는 Pont du Galetas 퐁 뒤 갈르타입니다. 🚤 패달보트 대여 시간당 20유로 (최대2시간)

It is a must when visiting the azure coast. At a relaxed pace, it's worth spending the whole day driving around the entire canyon (beaches, steep mountains, cliffs, azure waters and waterfalls cascading from the mountains). Beautiful views will stay with you forever. As for organized attractions, there are pedal boats, kayaks and boat rentals. 😥 On the sad news... the water level is currently so low that the Verdon is becoming a narrower, shallower gorge from year to year. 🚨 BEWARE OF THE THIEF 🚨 - Be careful with what you leave in the parking lot because it literally takes 5 minutes to have a broken windshield in your car. The local police confirm that thefts are a daily occurrence here, almost EVERY day. Luckily we were aware of this and made sure we were safe.

You will come for the lavender fields in Valensole and (if you come here) will return back with memories of pedalo ride and/or swim on the aquamarine lake. This place is a must visit/must do on your Valensole itinerary. Laze around or do the gorge on a boat from 1-4 hrs and swim while you are at it. Lake water is fresh and warm (particularly in July). The nearest village is Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (which in itself is a must see). You will need a car to reach here.

Here's the deal with Gorges du Verdun - it is everything you want it to be and more. Breathtaking natural scenery, happy people everywhere, cliff jumping fun, the whole bit. I had high expectations and it easily beat them. Pro tips - during busy season get there early to get a boat - get a boat from a vendor closer to the bridge so you don't have to waste a bunch of time paddling into the gorge itself - 2 hours goes by very quickly so rent accordingly.

Spectacular views! Near the bridge you can take a motor boat or a catamaran and go into the canyon. Some motor boats have a roof which is better, and the price is (was) 40 euro per hour. You need half an hour with a motor boat to reach the end of the canyon and half an hour to go back. You can sunbathe and swim. The motor boats with a roof are to be found on the side of the lake before the bridge when you are coming from the coast.

Such a beautiful region! Do not miss out if u r in the region. For dog owners: I took my dog in one of the pedal boats (the canoes did not look spacy enough) and I am thankful that I was allowed to take her into the valley! I will never forget this breath-taking landscape. Prices for the boats were ok. I only booked an hour and made the trip easily within that hour. When I return I might circle the lake.
