Gorges Du Verdon — Attraction in Castellane

Awesome. We took the D23 road up the mountain which is amazing! You end up driving to 1285 m high above the gorge. Its incredibly impressive and if anybody is a budding photographer, take your DSLR as there are stunning views of the Gorge itself, but also Vultures! At one of the viewing points there were 6 vultures right beside us - never seen them so up close. Incredible. We didn't get to boat up the Gorge as it was too windy and we were told it was a 'must', and it looked like it would be pretty amazing. So definitely recommend d that so leave a full day to...

One of the most beautiful experiences in Europe. The water was so nice, the weather was beautiful. If you have the opportunity to visit it is worth the trip!

Such a beautiful and fantastic place. Amazing views but not for the faint hearted. The roads that run alongside the gorge are very high and narrow with not much to stop you from falling off into the abyss! The Italian job comes to mind!
