Lac d'Aydat — Attraction in Clermont-Ferrand

Pretty lake, pleasant to walk around it, within a good hour or hour and a half. The path gets muddy after rain so wear suitable shoes. The route around is quite varied, and heads up and down some dirt paths, along wooden planks and in some roads. There are also options of swimming and boating, as well as a small beach, and picnic areas. Peaceful, calm area, with just noise from cars, camping areas and boaters. There are a couple small cafés/bistros. Public toilets available on both sides...

Nice lake. Nice and clean around. Enough free parking spaces. Playgrounds for the kids. Wonderful.

I found only one barbecue space. I am not sure there are anymore some other side. I was expecting path around the lake for walking but not sure they have or not. May be no! May be, there is no supermarket around either.

Que ce soit la sécurité liée aux zones de baignades, à la profondeur, à la météo, et même aux bactéries dangereuses, ils sont très réactifs en matière de prévention

Par contre prévoyez votre nourriture et boissons car il y a peu de commerces à côté et si vous tombez un jour ou les bars restaurants sont fermés vous aurez du mal à trouver de quoi manger et boire

Il y a pas mal d'activités dans le coin par ailleurs c'est sympathique même quand on ne peut pas se baigner il y a toujours de quoi se divertir

Pensez à venir en avance si vous voulez vous garer près de la baignade Il y a pas mal de places mais surtout le long de la route, donc quand il y a du monde on se retrouve parfois à marcher un bon moment
