Phare de Contis — Attraction in District of Dax

There's is an Aire de Camping Car across the road@13 euros per 24 hours w stayed for 48 hours, it is fantastic, a 15 minutes easy walk to the most spectacular beach perfect for surfers and a busier beach, dogs on beach, softest sand I've ever seen. All factories needed for motorhomes, plus washing up areas and tiles that are self cleaning. You can't ask for any more fabulous place we will be back definately . A beautiful lighthouse with attached home. I believe that someone still lives here, and the lighthouse is used today. Unfortunately, we were unable to visit this during the daytime as my wife is a lighthouse fanatic and has been right from a childhood age due to fraggle rock!! By night, the lighthouse is still very beautiful to see, sadly though my photographs haven't came out too great. The admission price says €3 for adults and I believe from speaking to others, that the information inside is in many languages, though I'm unable to completely...

I'm a fat and old and still managed to get up, worth the effort, especially if the temperature is soaring, fabulous cool wind at the top.... Oh and some views of the bay of Biscay :) getting a lift installed would make it twice or even tree times better, still not sure my heart rate has...
