European Ski School - Esi — Attraction in Grenoble

First time skiing in Les Deux Alpes but surely not the last time. Being back skiing after more than 20yrs., I've considered myself being baby skier again :)

Let me tell you a story... ;)

When booking this holiday I knew, I have to start as a beginner because I wasn't confident to go back to full on skiing, therefore I've booked 5 days of ski classes with European Ski School. First day, they divided us into groups, depends on your ski level, so I started as a beginner (level 0) with Mark and Vivi. I couldn't wish for better instructors for my introduction to skiing again. Mark is a great teacher and very patient (bonus - he speaks Swedish, I think!) and Vivi was very positive, fun and managed to make skiing a great experience - what can I say - Bravo! Vivi.... They very quickly examined that my level of skiing isn't that bad as I thought. They moved me to higher level with John. John was a fantastic instructor, identified areas of improvement straight away and was helping me to improve techniques. John has been working as a ski instructor in this resort for many seasons now and he is very familiar with all slopes. I did enjoy his class although only for a day. He suggested for me to go a level up so I joined the group where instructor was Riccardo. Riccardo is a great skiing instructor, very patient, well explained and pushes you hard to get the most out of our private lessons. I totally enjoyed skiing with Riccardo as he boosted my confidence and improved my technique greatly. I highly recommend Riccardo, he is my personal preference for private lessons too.

Overall, unforgettable experience with not only professionals but also amazing human being ski instructors. You are doing a great job guys!!!! Thank you all for making me to fell in love with...

We booked in advance over internet first steps on snow for our little one. She is still 3 and a half years old, and we didn't expected much, since our past experience with older daughter from other ski schools on Italian ski resorts was that in his age is only kindergarten on snow. But, we ended up pleasant surprised. From first day, we meet experienced instructor, willing to work with kids and teach them how to do they first steps on skis. Even we had a language barrier, since our little one do not speak english (we are from Croatia, and hoped since is "Croatian Ski Week", some of instructors will be Croatian), instructor took an effort, and tried to explain to her on every possible way how to do things (even using Google translator on her mobile phone). And since our daughter is too little, little bit spoiled and very stubborn, what even lady instructor found by herself, she learn how to do first steps on skis on the snow. And at the end, she is very, very satisfied. When we come back home, little Mia asked can she go back in ski school, with teacher Valerie. So, you can expect us to come back very soon. A part we like L2A pretty much, and was not first time we were there, that excellent experience with European Ski and Snowboard School and satisfaction and pride of our daughter with learned for sure will bring us back. To our wonderful ski and snowboard instructors – Luca, Ale and Fabio, Our latest vacation was the second time that we had lessons with instructors from the ESI school in Alpe D'Huez. This time as well as the previous, the success of the vacation was thanks to them. Luca who guided Marev did so with sensitivity, patience and caring listening. The experience was professional, improving and just perfect. Luca was the right person in the right place! Ale who guided Noam and Efi made our vacation perfect, taught us important stuff in order to improve and he also made us laugh a lot. Ale adjusted the lesson exactly to our level and thanks to him we are better skiers. Fabio who guided Nir understood right away that Nir is a professional snowboarder looking for extreme, so he gave him tips on how to do it right. He took Nir to the perfect slopes for him to snowboard. Nir finished the lesson with new tools and lots of happiness. Luca, Ale and Fabio, you made our vacation unforgettable, thank you so much!
