A great museum although mostly in French, the information in English wasn’t quite enough so we got the audio guides which is an extra €2pp. One of our guides died about half an hour later so make sure the batteries are charged. All in all, a great experience, very informative and staff speak English. Since it’s a bunker it would’ve been more informative to focus more on that though rather than the invasion of France and the surrounding areas. Regardless of that it was a good visit. Cost of entry is €7.50 per adult. Some things to add: -there was translation in German and Spanish on the exhibits as well. there was no toilets in the museum you can pay by card they need an ID/passport to hold as deposit when you’re in the museum which I didn’t understand and appreciate as I almost left...

Visited La Rochelle and this museum popped up on Google.

It is rather small, however, it is full of interesting information. The paintings on the wall and the ceiling are rather impressive.

We were given a folder with an English translation of the boards which was really useful. It can be a little bit cramped, so we found it better to find a bigger room to read the guide rather than room by room.

If you are from England and have visited the Western Approaches museum in Liverpool, then it's the same kind of size. Also like Western Approaches it is in an underground bunker, which was previously forgotten and locked away.

Worth a visit and really interesting. Very friendly...

Great location, full of fascinating history, especially the details of resistance against fascism which is unfortunately one of those things we need to keep in mind these days when we'd all much rather we had all learnt the lesson a long time ago. We timed our visit for just after it opened and were glad of this upon leaving and seeing how many people were about to come in (we were in the city as part of a cruise stop, so something to consider). The rooms are full of information but not very large so it could get quite cramped if busy. Definitely worth a...

C'est un super musée, la visite est relativement rapide mais les explications encadre tous les sujets, il y est donné pleins d'information et étant venu en uniforme d'époque, j'ai meme eu une réduction
