It is incredible to see how big the Grand Menhir actually was with over 20 meters high. At the location they have made a figurative measure on the ground of the length and size of the menhir.showcasing how it could have been seen from the sea and nearby isles when entering the Morbihan Gulf.

Les "monuments" préhistoriques à visiter sur ce site datent de plus de 6000 ans. A l'époque, on construisait pour durer !

Je recommande de faire la visite avec un guide (gratuit) : il replace la construction des mégalithes dans le contexte de l'époque, explique ce que les archéologues ont découvert et les mystères qui subsistent ... J'ai vraiment trouvé cette visite guidée intéressante.

Sans guide, on doit passer à coté de beaucoup d'informations essentielles à la compréhension de ces mégalithes (d'où quelques mauvais commentaires de la part de ceux qui ont fait la visite au « pas de course » - et sans guide).

Horaires des visites guidées (gratuites car inclus dans le prix du billet) : Du 1er au 6 juillet à 11h, 15h et 16h ; Du 7 juillet au 24 août, tous les jours (sauf les mercredis et le 21 août) à 11h, 14h, 15h, 16h et 17h ; Les mercredis et le 21 août à 11h, 14h30, 15h30 et 16h30 ; Du 25 août au 30 septembre à...
