I went to the park on the 28/09/19given the time of the morning it is true that there was few people on this day so we got to see the animals. When we walk around the healers or staff of the park take well the time to exchange with us like a young woman on the orangutan in the name of Edith who is of a beautiful age. My little cousin asked questions to a lorsques trainer that he prepared the hippos or rhino meal (I remember more in between) who answered him with kindness. We had trouble for the white tiger who was hurt I think of the ear I hope he will heal quickly. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Well done for the ancient village very good idea to teach our young children life in an older time. I allow myself to make a little note during the sessions in 3 D unfortunately some glasses there were more the plastics and glasses (finger tracks) hard to clean. (maybe you can plan cleaner or paper). I had a very nice day in the company of my cousins and very beautiful animals (never forget that we must continue to take care and protect our animals because they are also our wealth on this earth) I will come back to the park because I think as there are new and new renovations as I could see in...
Read moreThis place I left with a sad heart... It has the style of a late 80ies fun park which was primarly designed for visitors that want to see as much as possible in short time. The needs of the animals were not considered. Their living spaces are small and there is barely any possibility to hide. They are confronted with visitors from all sides that come so close, even from above... I never had seen this before in any zoo. I'm not comfortable with caging wild animals at all but appreciate institutions that try to give them a natural inhabitaton. Here I see that the staff is caring. But the whole architecture of the zoo ignores what we know about modern keeping nowadays. Here you can see some of the most beautiful creatures of the world from as close one could get squeezed in tiny places. Then there is enough time to use some attractions that have seen there best days. I'm sorry that I supported all that with my entree. Two stars because the attractions were...
Read moreI visited Touroparc Zoo a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my birthday, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had!
What made this experience so special was how hands-on it was. Unlike other soigneur experiences where you barely get to interact with the animals, Christophe made sure we were involved and engaged the whole way through. You can tell he genuinely cares for the all the reptiles and takes great pride in sharing that with others. We had the chance to see so many incredible species up close, and he gave us a fascinating look into what it’s really like to work behind the scenes at a zoo.
Thank you, Christophe, for making my birthday so memorable. Your enthusiasm made the visit come alive! Highly recommend this experience to anyone, whether you're an animal lover or just curious....
