Le Letty — Attraction in Metropolitan France

Le Letty Beach is somewhat limited when it comes to watersports. Unfortunately, the beach is only really suitable for two activities: stand-up paddling and kayaking or small boating. For windsurfing, kitesurfing, and wing foiling, the lagoon is not ideal.

This is partly because the entire area is a shallow water zone, making it challenging to get up to speed within the lagoon. Additionally, the lagoon's orientation means that strong winds only occur on bad weather days or just before a storm arrives.

Furthermore, the tidal effects are so significant that at low tide, the lagoon practically empties, making it impossible to engage in any watersports. Even at high tide, while the lagoon fills up considerably, many areas remain too shallow for wing foiling.

The only reliable way to windsurf, kitesurf, or wing foil here is to cross the lagoon on foot during low tide and then practice your sport on the open beach facing the Atlantic.

Ein wirklich schöner Campingplatz in traumhafter Lage. Das wirklich Schöne an diesem Platz ist, dass es noch ein echter Campingplatz ist! Keine Mobilheime, sondern noch echte Camper, die mit ihren Nachbar auch mal ein Wort reden, egal in welcher Sprache. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr entspannt und man kann wirklich runterkommen. Die Plätze sind großzügig und schön bewachsen, irgendwo findet man immer etwas Schatten. Es gibt etwas Animation und auch mal eine Abendshow, aber alles nicht so überdreht und anstrengend, wie es jetzt überall üblich geworden ist. Die Waschhäuser sind zweckmäßig, aber sehr sauber und es sind wirklich genug Toiletten und Duschen vorhanden. Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt auf dem Platz, die sogar mehrmals täglich frisches Baguette backen. Wir waren nicht zum ersten mal hier und werden auch nicht zum letzten mal hier...
