Beautiful beach with crystal clear water. Ideal for snorkeling and fish watching. We visited the beach in October and found hardly any other beachgoers. The sand is quite coarse and is therefore not suitable for building sand castles (a minus point from the kids). But you are rewarded with a beautiful scenery in the backdrop, because the beach is located below a more than 30 meters high cliff. The beach falls quite steeply into the sea and therefore has no sandbanks like many other beaches around Narbonne or Leucate, but small rocks where many fish are. The walk from the parking lot is about 15 minutes and requires some scrambling but is great fun and offers a great view of the...

Hidden gem! Probably one of the best French beaches I’ve been to so far. Few things before you go. DONT follow google maps - it doesn’t take cars to the beach. You need to go to Phare Du Cap Leucate (lighthouse) and park outside the restaurant. From the carpark you will have to walk about 15 minutes down a cliff, rocky walk so advise trainers. It’s not too difficult of a walk down however probably not best if you have low mobility. The beautiful views will keep you going.

When you get down, the beach is 100% worth it! Beautiful clean beach cove with crystal clear water. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area. No shops/amentities down there so make sure to bring a...

We've climbed our way here, because we are crazy 🤣🤣🤣 But we are having an amazing time. I suppose there is an easier way,but we've chosen to come following the coast, climbing the rocks... Bring good shoes. 😅 Edit: the official path to come in and out the beach is climbing the cliff. There is a parking lot near the entrance. We didn't know that until we passed it while leaving. The rocks are very sharp and...

It was a bit of a trek to the beach (& back up again!)…. 15mins from the parking by the restaurant. But so worth it. The water was crystal clear. Lovely for snorkeling. Recommend footwear a little more secure than flip flops. There are many wasps that nest in the cliffs, but if you give them their own picnic (fruit is good) & place it 1 or 2 meters away from you they will feast on that & leave yours alone.
