We (2 adults and 2 children and 1 dog) stayed at Quartier du Port for 8 nights.||Houses, paths and pool are very clean and very nice.|Each house has a nice wooden terrasse and the parking is very large so you always find a place for your car.|Overall, there is a good security feeling at the Quartier du Port.|It is also worth going to the Plage de l’Espiguette which is easily accessible by car.|The Octopus bar and restaurant is nice as a bar, but as a restaurant they lack a serious menu. I think the menu is overpriced. Burgers are served on basic Ikea-like plates and more sophisticated dishes like fish could taste better and have better sides.|In my opinion, the quartier du port lacks some activities. Most activities seem to be at the Village and people from Quartier du Lort barely use other parts of the camping.|Also, the path from the Quartier du Port to the Village has no lights and is infected with mosquitoes.|In general, mosquitoes are a serious issue.||As mentioned by other users, stays at the Quartier du Port are overpriced.|You get no cleaning, no near breakfast location, no mentionable service, Octopus restaurant has a too small menu and too high prices to eat there every night.|You pay a hotel price but you have to do everything by yourself. Staying 2 weeks is in my opinion too expensive, because for the same money you can get a 10-nights-holiday to Mallorca in a 5-star-hotel, flight and meals included.|Also, visiting le Gray du Roi and la Grande Motte is very challenging simply because it is difficult to find acceptable parking spaces.||Would I return? I think so|What would I do differently? From the start, cook every night in the appartment and make more use of the private terrasse.||What would it require for me to give 5 stars? The camping shod reduce prices by offering a Quartier du Portier only option. You really don’t need access to the other parts of the camping. They represent a false pricing argument. Why would you spend your valuable time in less comfortable parts of...

Read moreWe have just returned from 12 nights stay at the Port Quartier in Les Petits Camarguais! What a treat. The Port Quartier is brand new and the facilities are spotless and second to none. We chose a downstairs Premium Apartment which is definitely more suited to younger chlidren. We got to view a Duplex apartment however the layout isn't very family friendly and would be more suited toward adults sharing or older teenagers. That said the pool area and pool is amazing including the Octopus restaurant. The staff here were great with particular mention of Charlotte who charmed us and our kids from start to finish. The other pools in the campsite are also very clean and excellent with ech pool offering it's own unique vibe, the lagoon at Secrets, the slide pool at Cotes Village and the Aquaboule. There are plenty of places to eat and again I would mention Maxime at the Cotes Village restaurant who provided us with excellent customer service. The Espiguette beach is only down the road however I do recommend a hire car for the journey. Again the beach here is 13km of sandy white beach and completely unspoilt. There are very few campsites to which I would return as we always like to explore new places year on year, however, this was the most relaxed Holiday we have ever had and I was in a hurry yo share...
