Excellent museum in an very cool chateau. Clean, simple and well organised. Unfortunately, it's a little light on the details of how the war happened and the history of said war.. it's more of a series of static exhibits (very good ones) about the equipment that the soldiers had (very interesting) that you have to read through with some basic explanation of the context. Is a movie that consists of short films put to readings of soldiers' impressions of war. There are also quite a few touch screen exhibits which seemed interesting but were hard to navigate, so we lost interest on a few of them. Overall, good content, well preseted but a little dry at times and lacking a little context. The chateau is great and the price is cheap, so i recomend it. Just don't come in expecting a whole...

We bought a combined ticket with the Thiepval museum about 25 minutes away. It was good value €10. There is a small cafe in the Peronne museum and the town is quite...
