La Belle Époque — Restaurant in Péronne

This was a pleasant surprise when looking for a late lunch since most of the restaurants close at 2pm. We weren’t sure what to expect, the decor was different and we hadn’t had a planche before. When the food the came we were blown away. It was a taste sensation and plenty of it. We both rolled out of the restaurant. There was such a variety of flavours and for the price was excellent value. The owner was very polite and friendly and allowed us to bring in our dog. I’m not sure if this is usual policy but our dog is a very well behaved 12 year old Labrador. Great choice! We only planned to have a coffee after our drive from Cassel but the food on the tables either side of us looked too good! We went for 3 chaud planches to share - wow they were superb! Great service and amazing...

De passage un midi après le musée et avant de reprendre la route. Déception. La terrasse est sur une belle place, face au musée, c'est pour cela qu'on s'est arrêtés. Toutefois, le service a été très long, nous n'avons pas pris le dessert ni le café. La "salade la mer" n'était que du thon, du maïs et de la tomate sur des feuilles de laitue sans "vrai" assaisonnement. Nous avons payé cher au vue de ce que nous avons mangé.
