A pocos metros de la Abadía de la Santa Cruz, nos encontramos el puente medieval sobre el río Ellé. En aquella época constituía el acceso a una de las tres puertas que existían en la ciudad amurallada. Con su panel en forma de panza de burro, solo se conservan dos de los seis arcos góticos que tenían. En primavera y con un día soleado, su visita es imprescindible para ver la bravura de las aguas de este río.
