Plage de la Tonnara — Attraction in Sartène

Another great beach in south Corsica with slightly thicker grained sand, but a beautiful pink color thanks to the abundant granite in the region. Quite a bit of seaweed further up the beach but gets clearer nearer to the water. Easily accessible by a road. The biggest upside of this beach is the aquatic wildlife, the large rocks a bit further out from the shore covered in seaweed are a perfect spot for lots of species like sea urchins, sea cucumbers, and a plethora of fish. It’s not the biggest beach. Very popular with kite surfers when wind is up so swimming can be interesting. Maybe 300m long

Sand is medium course - not too fine. Getting g into the sea is easy as there is resanobke gradient. Crystal clear water with fish.

There are TWO big restaurants to choose from. Open all day and very big. One offers lounger rental.

There is a kayak and board shop at other end of beach.

One of the must-go visit beach if you go to Corsica. Not crowded in July, beautiful landscape with some rocks, white beach. Good for windsurfers when there's enough wind.
