We just had a wonderful experience tonight (je suis français et mon épouse est américaine).We called to make a reservation for 2 and one of the best tables had been reserved. What a view! Literally on the water. The service was perfect. Very attentive and not overwhelming. We asked for some wine recommendations and the white wine from Sartene ended up being a perfect pairing with the catch of the day we selected. The fish carpaccio was to die for. Spicy but not too much. We were advised to take the “Saint Pierre” catch of the day (sorry I don’t know the translation). The preparation and the dish itself was excellent. And we finished with ice cream for my wife (she is GF allergic) and I had the most amazing cheese cake. Much lighter and tastier than anything you can have in the US. une...

Hard to review because the place is amazing and the food is actually great BUT the prices leave you feeling upset.

I would not recommend getting lobster just because they clearly overcharge for it and also for catch of the day too. 120 euro for a sea bass is laughable… lobster burger taste is divine, really, but the lobster itself was quite tough and chewy.

I wouldn’t go back but if I did I’d order only items where prices are noted upfront on the menu so you don’t get a 270 euro hit, as those items’ prices are shown per g on the menu. To be honest I asked how much the burger would be and he did a sum in his head and told me it would be 130 euro for the burger and I went for it but the sea...

Nous nous sommes rendu chez Marco, sur les conseils d'amis restaurateur de bonifaccio, car nous voulions manger du poisson frais de corse. Pas de marco en vue, mais un gérant qui malgré notre souhait de manger du poisson (exprimé lors de notre réservation et à plusieurs reprises, nous expose des suggestions, italiennes, catalane et nous dit: 'Nos chefs sont italiens, vos pâtes serons al dente'.....ouf, nous sommes rassuré......... mais nous revenons à la charge sur le poisson. C'est alors que 4 menus figés nous sont exposé. Après discussion on nous dit que finalement il est envisageable de mixer à la fois les menus, mais aussi les suggestions. Notre choix se porte alors sur la soupe de poisson maison en entrée à 18€ par personnes, accompagné de vieux croutons de baguette et d'emmental en sachet. La soupe de poisson bien que bonne n'étant pas maison et n'ayant pas eu la chance d'apercevoir notre dorade fraiche avant cuisson, l'ambiance se refroidie. La dorade arrive, avec une assiette d'accompagnements, excusez moi l'expression, immonde. pomme de terre cuite à l'eau de couleur noir et immangeables, tomate provençale et courgette à la béchamel......un désastre! le poisson insipide, loin d'être de la veille, voir congelé. Nous nous résignons à boire un dernier verre de notre bouteille de Peraldi 2014, très bonne mais très cher et payons notre du, soit 212€. Pas possible de communiquer avec le gérant, surement trop occupé à discuter avec son patron marco, le fameux grossiste de bonifaccio. Nous sommes des habitués de la corse et avons visité quelque magnifique adresses lors de notre séjour, restaurant version maquis, chez ciccio, chez francis à tizzane, le rustic, mais je vous déconseille vivement cette adresse. Pour info, c'est la première fois que je me permet de laisser un commentaire sur l'un de mes confrères, mais là, c'est trop. Incredibly nice place. We went there with our tourguide. Was one of the most magical places we visited in Corsica. A really cool experience with nice seafood. They pick you up in the ocean with a little boat to go there. Super nice and real. The food was really exceptionally good.

Incredibly nice place. We went there with our tourguide. Was one of the most magical places we visited in Corsica. A really cool experience with nice seafood. They pick you up in the ocean with a little boat to go there. Super nice and real. The food was really exceptionally good.
