We spent ages at this place. It has so much to look at and a lot of poetry to listen to. Really nicely done interactions as you go around the gardens, ruins and Ronsard’s house. A good exhibition to start with showing the history of the place. We didn’t have any food but we love the self service food in jars. Lots of lovely places outside to sit and eat your food. Good toilets and a good sized car park. Lots of deck chairs, hammocks and other seating if you want to sit and relax, read or have a go at writing some poetry. Read moreAbsolute an tip. Here you can relax and strole a bit around. Ok the monastery is ruined, but it is so nicely kept and arranged. The house of the poet is fully intact and can be visited. Only the highway disturb a bit, but we all drive cars😏. So the visit takes about 1-2 hours, but all over the place are resting seats and hammock-seats to relax a bit. Read moreReally amazing visit that took us by surprise. The location of this is quite far away from Tours center, but it is worth going out to as it is a short drive or cycle. The gardens were great to wonder around in, and the area is very well maintained. The information about the site is very good, and lots of interactive parts.
