There's really nothing fancy about this bridge. I remeber when there was just a rail and you could clearly see the Rio Grande. Now they have a fence, barbed wire and concrete blocks sit in the middle of the bridge in order to deter an invasion I guess. Going over to Mexico you pay 1.00 and walk over. You can always stop at the Duty Free store to buy you carton of cigarettes, liquor bottles or perfume tax free of course. (If you want to seek it back to the states, you need to declare and pay the tax.) The end of the bridge, over on Mexican side has changed and you have to walk through the incpection office. Overall, it's convenient if you are just crossing over to spend some time on the Mexican side to eat or get medicine. Downtown Nuevo Laredo is not the same but it's a daily way of life for many that cross this bridge.

It's a pretty bridge. And one of the nicest and most developed border crossings I've taken into México. I've taken many. It's located in the middle of Downtown Laredo. And is good for both vehicular and pedestrian crossing.

El puente internacional de Laredo es de suma importancia a nivel histórico y socio-económico. Había bastante tráfico pero se veía movimiento. En lo personal, no he cruzado el puente 🌉.
