Adventure Lift Burg Altena — Attraction in Altena

Not a lot to do for the price, it's basically an ordinary lift (elevator) with a TV screen that shows the same short video of a bunch of characters from Altena's history pretending to hang from the bottom of the lift on repeat plus a few, deeply mediocre, listening/activity stations related to Altena's history on the way to the lift. The English voice over for these was impressively dull. Altena castle is great though and not a particularly long walk up the hill. Der sogenannte Erlebnisaufzug in der Altenaer Lennestr. 45, hält nicht was der Neme verspricht. Vom Chexpoint ein ellenlange moderner Gang, mit der Möglichkeit sich an verschiedenen Stationen, Geschichte über Kopfhörer kindgerecht erzählen zu lassen. Wer alle hören will muss mindestens 1 1/2 Std. zuhören. Einige interessante Darstellungen auf Wand und TV projeziert geben auch Teile der Geschichte der mittelalterlichen Hohenburg wieder. Der Aufzug selbst, modern und man ist ohne irgendetwas in 35 Sekunden in der Burg. Der Bildschirm im Aufzug zumindestens bei meinem Besuch, ohne Funktion.
