Weingut Friedrich Becker — Attraction in Bad Bergzabern

This was an amazing winery and an even better experience. We were quite lucky to have a tasting here as the staff were celebrating their harvest. When we arrived, they said that they were finishing up their event, so if we could wait 15 minutes, they could assist us. While we waited, they served us some of the wine they were having, and the Riesling and Pinot Noir were both amazing. We eventually got to taste a good selection of their wines, and my wife and I agreed that this is some of the best wine we have had for the price (our personal tastes). Die verantwortliche Dame in der Vinothek hat uns heute wirklich, wirklich toll und kompetent durch das Sortiment geführt und ist jedes Lobes wert.

Das Verhalten von Herrn Becker war jedoch unter alle Kanone und absolut unwürdig.

Zunächst wurden wir bei Ankunft trotz eines vier Wochen im Voraus bestätigten Termins mit einem "Das kann nicht sein, jetzt machen wir Mittag" angeschnauzt.

Nach Abschluss der Probe schenkte uns die verantwortliche Dame noch einen Süßwein ein, woraufhin sie und wir von Herrn Becker - offenbar doch nicht zu Tisch - angeschrien wurden, dass man nach einem Rotwein keinen Weißwein mehr ausschenken/trinken dürfe.

Mag derartiges Auftreten gegenüber Kunden noch befremdlich sein, gegenüber den eigenen Mitarbeitern ist es ein absolutes No Go und komplettes Führungsversagen.
