Deutsches Pinsel- und Bürstenmuseum — Attraction in Bechhofen

We intentionally went to this museum out of curiosity. It was well worth the trip! There is an intercom on the door that you must ring to get inside. A woman answered in German and within five minutes, she arrived to open the museum. We were the only ones there. There was an English guide available but with Google translate we were able to enjoy most of the exhibits. I would have never thought that brushes would be so interesting! Sehr zu empfehlendes Museum! Jeder hat schon einen Pinsel oder noch öfters eine Bürste in Gebrauch gehabt, aber über die Herstellung dieser Dinge hat man so gut wie gar keine Ahnung. Ebenso erfährt man auch einiges über die Arbeitsbedingungen und Krankheiten der Pinselmacher. Man staunt, wie viele Arten von Pinseln und Bürsten und ihre jeweilige Anwendungsbestimmung es überhaupt gibt. Die Vielfalt überrascht. Die Dame und der Herr an der Museumskasse waren sehr freundlich und gaben bereitwillig Auskunft. Gerade an schlechten Wettertagen empfiehlt es sich als schöner Nachmittagsausflug. Für kleinere Kinder ist es eher nicht zu empfehlen. Die ausgestellte Ware im Museumsshop unbedingt ansehen - da wird sehr gute Ware zu adäquaten...
