City Hotel Chemnitz — Attraction in Chemnitz

The City Hotel is a modern, extremely well-run hotel. We were greeted by a very welcoming, friendly and helpful receptionist. Our room was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable.||||Special mention must go to the breakfast, which is first class and excellent value at EUR 5.50. I have stayed at other hotels and paid 2 to 3 times as much for a poorer breakfast. The lady who organised the breakfast was also very friendly and helpful.||||There is a good Italian restaurant in the hotel run by Italians who certainly cook good food. || ||We could not have wished for anything more, and will certainly come again when visiting family...

I stayed at the City Hotel in Chemnitz for one night as I was on a concert at the AJZ and searched for a room near the venue. City Hotel was great for that, because it was only a 10 minutes walk to the venue. If you are in Chemnitz for sightseeing, the hotel is a bit away from the city center (30 to 40 minutes to walk). Reception staff was very friendly and also the service at the breakfast. I payed for the single room 38 EUR and breakfast was included - cereals, bread, eggs, juice, coffe, tea, cheese, ham.
